Thanks for the sheet. It mentions maybe a firewall issue prevents it from loading data. As far as I can tell, I didn't get any alerts. Maybe Kaspersky (internet security) doesn't like it.

Downloaded and ran eTikr. It was "unable to access the data feed", I looked at my firewall settings etc but couldn't make it work so I can't give the add-in a good review.

My etikr give me an "invalid symbol" message when I enter the symbols; AFC, AKF, and AWP. These symbols are traded on the NYSE and I can get them from every online portfolio tracker and stock quote service.

AFC is a Senior Note from the Allied Capital Corp (ALD).
AKF is a structured product of Ambac Financial Group (ABK).
AWP is Alpine Global Premier Properties Fund.

How can I get these publicaly traded NYSE symbols to appear on the eTikr site. Stan

Opinion.

It's a superb program helps a lot, once again hatsoff to the team you prepared this. Sir but I'm indian and am trading in BSE/NSE if you can prepare same thing it would be great help to me, I'm looking forward for that software.

Sorry to day it was very hard for me to use.
It's not user friendly..I tried to add Indian stock
market scrips but I failed to do the same.
Regarding macro loading and all it's took a long time
to load compare to the other similar softwares.
The layout is very attractive but you should make it
more user friendly by simple way to find quote and
add scrips to it.

First Timer

It didn't quite work for me. Perhaps because I'm working with Excel 2000. It worked once out of four times, I had to shut it down three times via the Task Manager because it just seemed to hang there and stopped responding while trying load up the stock quotes.

eTikr features

Nice add-on, however missing some handy features (may be my mess).

- Sorting by numbers doesnt work

- Didnt find an easy way to add in watchlist table custom columns - like remarks, industry, etc. - sorting in new columns didnt work. I did build new table from scratch using eTikr functions (this solved number sorting too).

- More columns are desireable, like 52 week moving average percent change, book value, etc.

- Grouping

Could not install

I downloaded the software but was unable to make use of it, because it would not install. As you can imagine this makes me disatisfied with the software.

Very Impressed

I am very impressed with eTikr. I have not used all of its capabilities as of yet, but the ease of use and functionality of this spreadsheet is excellent.

It does seem to use a lot of processor resources on my computer (yeah, it slows it down). Not sure if thats my connection speed (wireless aircard can be iffy) or the nature of Excel.

Overall, I am very happy with it and am considering using it as my primary portfolio management tool.
